Township Merchant Field Officer
Responsibilities
Product Knowledge
Master the Drivex Merchant App and fulfilment system. Understand the needs of small-scale businesses in food, retail, and services to contextualise the technology for them.
Research
Engage communities to understand merchant pain points, pricing needs, and delivery expectations. Feed research back into the product and strategy teams for ongoing improvement.
Deliverables
Prepare onboarding reports, success case studies, outreach documentation, and merchant progress tracking dashboards.
Communication
Bridge language and trust gaps through ongoing merchant visits, community forums, and clear documentation of performance. Represent the Drivex brand with professionalism and care.
Requirements
Portfolio of SME development or community outreach initiatives
2–3 years experience in merchant support, township marketing, or digital adoption
Excellent communication in English and isiZulu or isiXhosa
Proficiency with mobile applications and basic reporting tools
Matric + Diploma in Community Development, Marketing, or ICT
Strong ability to build trust and deliver digital literacy training
